Welcome To Our Site
You may wonder why the Emu has been chosen as the
mascot for this site. Well to cut a long story short, it refers to
a family camp we have been visiting regularly for some thirty five plus
years now and you will find reference to Emu Springs throughout the
site.
We invite you along to view our adventures and hopefully it may give
you the incentive to get out there and perhaps meet up with us somewhere
in Australia's big back yard..
Go on take the plunge get yourself a Swag,
camper or caravan and get outback and see and experience Australia.

EMU Springs
This is a small area of the planet sacred to only but a few.
Our family and privileged friends regard this spot as "Our Oasis" and
The Matriarch & Patriarch (parents of Sharon) of our small community
have been frequenting this oasis since the early 70's and myself (Paul)
since 1979.

We are
fortunate that we are outdoor lovers and have a few toys we'd
like to show you a little later when we have the site more
advanced. Stayed tuned.. |

We are planning a trek to the Bilbinya Sand Dunes - the Great Australian Bite and Ceduna/Woomera sometime around May 2013 so will keep
you all updated as we finalise plans.
Paul & Sharon will then be taking a break in Europe for a few months (Once again yet to be planned)

Taking a look around, We don't mind 'getting
out there' Trekking to places like the Great Central Highway from
Leonora to Yulara NT then on to Darwin, Litchfield and Jabiru, then the
Gibb River Road - Kununurra to Derby and many more. Australia by caravan
is about the Outback Trekkers, so come along for the adventures,
tribulations and traumas. (not too many hopefully)
A New Beginning
After a terrorist attack on our Oasis in late March 2010
and the subsequent "torching" of some 20 years of
acquisitions and donations from all whom have visited, We
have replaced everything to rebuild the oasis bigger and
better than before. We will NOT be intimidated by such low
lifes.
