Guide No 1

Part of the caravanning experience is to enjoy yourself while travelling the outback of Australia, enter the Satellite experience. Many travelers will tell you that stopping at a free camp or some other secluded area certainly will not provide you with any form of television entertainment. The satellite experience can be purchased for as little as $300 and with a little patience and technical skill, you too can have yourself and spouse (read smiling partner) up and running with 'free to air' television reception at the press of a button. Take a look at the attached photo and this particular camper has mounting the dish on the 'A frame' of his caravan allowing for ease of tuning and convenience, however the alternatives is to use the free standing bracket supplied with your satellite setup.

This photo was taken to show the detail of the satellite 'goose neck', bracket discussed previously, please note this is not supplied with any of the satellite packages available and requires additional expense for purchase and installation. You will also notice the existence of a water filter inline with the water supply from your water source. Paul & Sharon recommend the us of this or a similar device to ensure clean and filtered water under all conditions.
